Pellet Mill Bootcamp for Compound Feed: A practical Workshop

Aim of course

In this course, the participants will acquire hands-on knowledge in mechanical and process engineering to specifically optimize the pelleting process and pellet quality. They’ll learn about the key factors influencing pressing behavior and specific energy consumption, and transfer these insights to your operational practice. After completing the course, course participants will be able to identify and adjust relevant process parameters, assess pelleting behavior, analyze and reduce specific energy consumption, as well as to improve pellet quality reproducibly.

    Physical and chemical characteristics
  • Preparation of raw material:
    Conditioning, hygienizing, liquid addition
  • Pelleting process:
    Influence of product-, machine- and process -parameters
  • Practical work
    On process and mechanical level. Implementation on learnings in pelleting trials and analysis.

Included are course documentation, lunches, coffee, water or tea during breaks, one social evening with dinner. Not included is hotel accommodation, travelling costs, transportation from airport to hotel etc.

Application deadline / Terms of payment

Registration must be completed no later than four weeks before the course starts and becomes final upon receipt of payment. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the course will likewise be canceled by that time at the latest.
