Aim of course

Concentrating on the practical aspects of machines and process technology, with regard to productivity, plant accuracy, hygiene, quality, and energy consumption. Understanding of the various process sections in a compound feed production plant.

  • Aspiration:
    basics, calculations
  • Batch mixing plant:
    system-layouts, mixing cycle diagram, proportioning
  • Size-reduction:
    grinding-systems, product influences, particle size distribution chart, calculations
  • Mixing:
    accuracy, homogeneity test, liquid addition
  • Hygienizing:
    steam conditioning, thermal processes
  • Compacting:
    pelleting process, product influences, machine parameters, application of expanders and extruders
  • Drying/Cooling:
    basics, influencing parameters
  • In all sections:
    explanation of operating and working principles, directly at the corresponding equipment
  • Test methods
  • Field trips
